After much consideration we have decided to end the LoveHappens service. You may continue to use LoveHappens until May 31, 2008.

After May 31, 2008 you will no longer have access to LoveHappens.

We hope you enjoyed using LoveHappens as much as we enjoyed making it for you and we wish you love and success in the future.

We’ve been working hard to bring a new look to LoveHappens! We’re not just making it prettier, we want it to be easier and more pleasant to use as well.

You’ll probably notice the biggest changes to your homepage. Whether you’re single and looking, helping friends or both, we’ve combined your matchmaking tools into one organized, easy-to-use homepage.

Ever wish you could search for “dog lover” or “baseball fan” when looking for your perfect match? Now you can. Just add free text to any search and get even more specific results.

We’ve also made it easier for you to offer your advice to members about their profile and gallery photos. Think a photo is too dark? Blurry? Should the member post more photos? Now you can easily let them know with LoveHappens Photo Feedback.

Of course more changes are on the way as we’re always looking to make LoveHappens better, so stay tuned!

Now you can introduce anyone to anyone. When browsing a profile, click the ‘make an introduction’ link and introduce that person to someone in your friends list, a match from the LoveHappens network, or to one of your friends outside the LoveHappens network. More enhancements to this feature coming soon. Stay tuned.

Our confession board is up and has already received over 900 confessions!

The LoveHappens confession board gives users a great way to share their most horrifying, sweet, embarrassing, and romantic dating adventures with the LoveHappens community… and if your story is especially embarrassing, there’s always the ability to tell it anonymously. ;o)

It’s great to see that users are already telling their stories and we’ve discovered some unbelievable ones already! Plus, when users let us know that they’ve started a life with the person they’ve met on LoveHappens.com, it really makes our jobs satisfying.

Also, look for even more features for the LoveHappens confession board in the near future. We’re currently building out a sorting ability so that you can sort by top-rated and most popular stories. Cool, huh?
